CPanel Settings

Your CPanel (control panel) allows you to configure your website. You can configure mail accounts, view your site stats, password protect directories and much much more.

CPanel URL: http://www.yourdomain.com/cpanel/
CPanel Username: your username
CPanel Password: your password

FTP Settings

Use these details to upload your website to the server.

FTP Host: ftp.yourdomain.com
FTP Username: username@yourdomain.com
FTP Password: your password

Please Note: When transferring your files up to your website place them in the public_html folder. Do not delete any of the other root folders as your site will cease to work correctly.

FTP Clients

To upload your files to the server you will need an FTP client here are a few free ones

SmartFTP – http://www.smartftp.com/
WsFTP – http://www.ipswitch.com/downloads/
Filezilla – https://filezilla-project.org/

Email Settings

Use these details to connect to your mail server using a POP3 or IMAP mail client. If you do not have a mail client you can get a free one from www.mozilla.com/thunderbird/

You can setup additional email accounts through your CPanel module.

Email Username: username@yourdomain.com
Email Password: your password
Incoming Mail Server (POP3): mail.yourdomain.com
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.com
