Rob Bester plays fretless electric bass, underpinning the band with his ever tasteful funky bass lines. He plays other rhythm instruments such as davul, a large two-sided drum, and various bagpipes. He has studied in Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey, recording and learning bagpipe music from village musicians. Of course he would rather be fishing.
